Maring Stairwell

A collector wanted to place an array of aluminum prints into his stairwell. The installation of 12 images (three 30,” two 20″ and seven 10″) was designed on elevation drawings of the four facing walls (see the drawing below the slider). Common horizontals and 10″ gaps (the size of the smallest prints) govern the installation’s layout. The painting at the top of the stairs, Palace, is an earlier commission, oil on panel. The large framed print is a hand-litho of mine titled, “Lander.”
